This class is designed for the sewer who has made garments in the past but doesn't remember all the details. The class will begin with a simple blouse pattern. This pattern can come from a stash or a new one (Butterick or Vogue patterns are well designed). The class will review fit, construction details, buttonholes, seam finishes and details necessary for the specific patterns chosen. Bring your pattern for the first class and the discussion will include fabric choices and fit as well as tools and sewing secrets! Do not bring your machine for the first class.
There will be written instructions for certain techniques. Bring note taking book and tape measure.
This class assumes that the sewer knows how to use her machine and that it is in good working order. The sewer has sewing experience. Some of the sewing will be done at home.
The cost is $25 per class
