Main Street Quick Quilters

Join our new club, Main Street Quick Quilters!  MSQQ will focus on making quilts quickly and easily using short cuts and tricks taught each month.  The topics will use techniques from rotary cutting and fast machine piecing methods, and this new group replaces Quilt Sitters Circle, but gives the opportunity for more quilters to join.  Requirements are simply that you have taken Eunice's Cutting and Beginning Machine Piecing classes, or were formerly a Quilt Sitters Circle member.
Club members should always bring note taking tools and graph paper to the club meetings.  The classroom is available for open sewing after the meeting, so bring your machine, project and a lunch if you would like.
In May and June we will be working on a double four-patch pattern called Mandevilla which uses 2 dark fabrics and 2 light fabrics.  We will discuss what block sizes you may want to make and plan the quilt based on those sizes.  We will spend two months (two sessions) working on each quilt.

The $40 club fee runs through Dec 2014, or $5/month through the end of the year, depending on when you join.  We will meet on the second Wednesday of each month.
Wednesdays, 10 AM-1 PM:  May 14, June 11, July 9 (sew day, no Eunice), August 13 (picnic day!) , September 10, October 8, October 22, November 12 and December 10
